2009 Kids’ Stage/Drama Camps Partner - $3,000
Ship’s Company Theatre’s Kids’ Stage programming focuses on youth, and presents shows and activities with families and children in mind. We have hosted renowned companies, delivering high quality family entertainment, among them Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, Maritime Marionettes, Zuppa Circus, and former Jest In Time founder and performer Christian Murray.
Ship’s Company Theatre offers three drama day camps annually, for youth from ages five to eighteen. Students receive instruction in acting, singing, dance, movement, voice and improvisation from professionally trained instructors. At the end of every five-day camp, each group performs for family and friends in a public showcase. As a Drama Camp partner, you will help to provide youth the opportunity to learn about theatre, and themselves, as they have fun and make discoveries while improving their confidence and self-esteem.
