Lucien is New Brunswick’s blue-collar philosopher. An hysterical, down-to-earth, highly entertaining show, Lucien is an opinionated North Shore mill-worker who opines on a variety of relevant social topics. A one-man show in two acts, Lucien plays like an ironical period piece, reflecting a time when jobs were plentiful, unions were strong and job security was not a dirty word.
Marshall Button has recently been awarded the Order of New Brunswick for his work, has performed Lucien across the country for almost 20 years, and audiences have always been delighted. Lucien has become something of a Canadian cultural icon, and has been seen on Air Farce, and several comedy specials on TV.
