Gordon
Stobbe
Gordon Stobbe is considered a Master Fiddler. He was host and musical director
of the popular TV variety show Up Home Tonight for eight seasons. Gordon developed
a teaching program at Musicstop’s Canadian Conservatory of Music in Halifax, and
is in demand as an instructor at fiddle workshops and fiddle camps across Canada

Kelli Trottier
Kelli Trottier is an internationally acclaimed fiddler, stepdancer and singer. In
addition to her extensive performing experience, most recently with the ‘Bowfire’
entourage, she continues to be a highly sought-after instructor. Kelli has been
nominated three times for Fiddle Player of the Year by the Canadian Country
Music Association, and is featured vocally and instrumentally on many studio recordings.

Kendra
MacGillivray
Kendra MacGillivray brings fiddle music to life with her energetic performances.
An award-winning instrumental artist, she shares her original compositions and
time-honoured traditional tunes in regional and international venues, and has been in
demand as a teacher of fiddle, piano accompaniment, and dance. Kendra is now the
Executive Director of the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts in Summerside.

Timi Levy
Timi Levy is a professional violinist, originally from Budapest, Hungary, who has
performed with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, National Ballet and Alberta
Ballet, and throughout Europe. Timi has a Master’s equivalence as a chamber and
violin musician/instructor. She taught private violin while residing in Calgary, and
now performs and teaches violin and fiddle in Parrsboro, Amherst and surrounding areas.

Skip Homes
Skip Holmes plays guitar, banjo, and fiddle. He is a member of the Gordon Stobbe Trio and has collaborated with Gordon on a number of projects. Skip recorded and toured Canada and Britain with Richard Wood. He teaches at the Canadian Conservatory, and is in demand as an accompanist for Maritime fiddlers at concerts, dances, and recording sessions.

Geoff
Horrocks
Geoff Horrocks is a ‘by ear’ player. He plays piano, fiddle, and guitar, and
enjoys the thrill of accompanying fiddle players. Geoff loves to try to inspire players by creating interesting chord arrangements ‘on the fly’. He is involved in recording projects, and teaches at fiddle camps as well as privately in Ottawa.

Greg Simm
Greg Simm is accomplished as a player in many musical styles, ranging from
country to traditional folk. He has been involved in recording projects as a
composer, musician, and producer. Greg has performed with notable Maritime
performers, including Gordon Stobbe, Natalie MacMaster, Richard Wood, Lenny
Gallant, Kendra MacGillivray, and John Gracie.
