MP Scott Armstrong Makes Presentation to Ship’s Company Theatre

PARRSBORO NS - Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley Member of Parliament, Scott Armstrong, made an official visit to Ship’s Company Theatre in Parrsboro on behalf of the Minister of the Department of Canadian Heritage to announce the presentation of a grant in support of the Theatre’s Concert Series and Second Stage programming for 2010. These significant monies come from the programming component of the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, formerly called the Arts Presentation Canada Program.
Present to welcome MP Armstrong was Ship’s Company Theatre Artistic Producer, Matthew Tiffin.
Ship’s Company Theatre will offer three Mainstage plays, a Concert Series, Second Stage and Kids’ Stage productions, Drama Camps, a Reading Series, and a Mainstage Special Event within its broad range of programming in 2010, running June 30th through September 26th.
