Ship’s Company Operations Return to Theatre Premises
by RENA KOSSATZ, Director of Marketing, Ship's Company TheatrePARRSBORO NS - After having been displaced from their premises as a result of an interior oil spill on February 1st, Ship’s Company Theatre staff has returned to the theatre’s Lower Main Street location in Parrsboro, where preparations for the Theatre’s upcoming 2010 Season are at full speed.
A two-month stint in an interim office location on Parrsboro’s Upper Main Street allowed critical operations to continue while remediation and reconstruction within the theatre building took place.
“All traces of the spill are gone, and we can again enjoy our scent-free building, restored to its original condition”, commented Rena Kossatz, Ship’s Company’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “Affected materials were carefully and completely removed from the site by restoration specialists, and all fabrics and surfaces have been made fresh with a thorough and extensive cleaning.”
“We’re back, and better than ever!”, stated Artistic Producer, Matthew Tiffin.
