We are pleased to invite you to attend a very important event in support of the Ship’s
Company Theatre, which will take place in Halifax on Thursday, March 25th, 2010.
The elegant Lord Nelson Hotel, a Halifax landmark for more than eighty years, will be the
setting for an evening of exquisite dining and extraordinary offerings by some of Nova
Scotia’s finest performance artists.
The Lord Nelson’s Executive Chef has designed a fine repast certain to please the palate.
Enlivening the evening will be a silent auction, highlighting an array of items presented
for viewing and bidding. This special event will provide occasion for a warm gathering of
friends, patrons, and supporters - past, present, and future - of Ship’s Company Theatre,
and will offer a peek at the line-up for Ship’s Company Theatre’s 2010 season with newly appointed
Artistic Producer, Matthew Tiffin.
Ship’s Company Theatre is a valued and vital entity within Nova Scotia’s vibrant arts,
culture, and entertainment community. Fulfilling a mandate to be a prime centre for the
development and production of Canadian works, the theatre places an emphasis on Atlantic
Canadian stories and demonstrates a commitment to regional artists. We are dedicated to
ensuring an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors to the town of Parrsboro.
Information regarding tickets and table reservations, as well as sponsorship and advertising opportunities, is provided on the attached page. A form is included for your convenience.
