Ship’s Company Theatre has been a training ground for many people, whether young actors in their stage debuts or technical crew and administrative personnel gaining hands-on experience and learning from our qualified staff members. This initiative allows high school students to apprentice for one week in different aspects of the operation of the Theatre - directorial, design, administrative, or technical. Students are paired with a professional mentor whom they shadow for one week, and who will answer their questions. Students from Parrsboro and Cumberland and Colchester Counties may come and learn myriad valuable skills.
