Ship's Company Board of Directors

The Ship’s Company is governed by a Board of Directors incorporated under the Societies Act of Nova Scotia and consists of members chosen from the municipality, our immediate region and the province. The Board enjoys representation from the business, professional, and artistic communities.

The Board is required to meet quarterly and more frequently when necessary. The affairs of the Board are directed by the Executive Committee which meets monthly.

The Board of Directors defines the job description for the Artistic Producer who is hired to execute the mandate of the company. The Artistic Producer is responsible for staffing all other positions necessary for the efficient operation of the theatre.

The Ship’s Company fiscal year is April 1 to March 31, and our registered charitable tax number is 0717165-22-03.
