We are pleased announce a very
special event in support of Ship's Company Theatre,
which will take place in Halifax on Thursday,
March 27th, 2008.
The elegantly-appointed Halifax Club, an historic landmark with
a storied legacy, will be the setting of an evening of exquisite
dining and extraordinary offerings by some of Nova Scotia's finest
performance artists.
Pianist Ian Bent will entertain during the welcome reception, beginning at 6:00 p.m. A performance by virtuoso violinist, Timi Levy, accompanied by pianist, Chuck Homewood, will be featured during the evening. The smooth sounds of a jazz combo, led by renowned musician and international educator, Jeff Goodspeed, will complete the stellar event.
The Halifax Club's Executive Chef, Nelson Francis, will present a repast designed to please the eye and the palate. Enlivening the evening will be a silent auction, highlighting an array of items presented for viewing and bidding. This event will provide occasion for a warm gathering of friends, patrons, and supporters - past, present, and future - of Ship's Company Theatre, and will offer a peek at Ship's Company Theatre's
2008 season!
